Meet Lara, LYT Method Founder
A lifelong yoga practitioner and athlete, Lara Heimann received her MS in Physical Therapy from Duke University. During yoga teacher training in 1999, she was surprised to learn that traditional yoga does not incorporate principles of functional movement and anatomy. She developed the LYT Method, which incorporates principles of yoga, physical therapy, kinesiology, functional movement and neurology.
Lara has taught LYT to people in over 50 countries, including Olympic athletes, yoga teachers, and yoga practitioners of all levels who are committed to learning new, smarter movement patterns.
